Before you start

  • The supplier is Approved.
  • You are named on the supplier as an Approver, a QA or a Coordinator.
  • You know your Complere password.

Steps

  1. Open the supplier from Suppliers › Suppliers.

  2. Select the status button at the top of the page. It shows Approved. What the Escalate panel offers depends on your role: a Coordinator goes straight to the form; Approvers and QAs see Escalate status to On Hold and Escalate status to Probation, and an Approver who is an Administrator also sees Escalate status to Disqualified. Select the arrow beside Escalate status to On Hold.

Step 2. The Escalate panel of an approved supplier for an Approver who is an Administrator: Escalate status to On Hold, to Probation and to Disqualified
  3. The form Escalate status to On Hold asks for your password and a Remark, which is required. Write why the supplier is on hold, then select Sign.

Step 3. The Escalate status to On Hold form with the signature warning, Email, Password and the required Remark

Result

The supplier is On Hold. Complere sends the supplier notification e-mail.

Next: to lift the hold, see Take a supplier off hold.
