Roles

Your system role and your place in the training decide what you can do: whether you are a Training Coordinator (for all groups, or for its group when Group Wise Configuration is on), a Training Responsible User named on it, or one of its trainees.

System roles — set for each user

Administrator
A system role. Creates, edits, archives and deletes trainings, and names the Training Coordinators.
Supervisor
A system role. Opens trainings and each trainee's history.
Regular User
A system role. Sees no Add New on the Trainings list unless set up as a Training Coordinator.
Read Only User
A system role. Cannot create or edit trainings.

Training roles

Training Coordinators
Set under Settings & Master › Training Coordinators, for all groups or, with Group Wise Configuration, per group. Create, edit, archive and delete trainings.
Training Responsible Users
Named on the training. A trainee in Completed, Not Approved shows them Approve and Reject buttons.
Trainee Users
Assigned to the training as trainees.

The Permissions page shows the same matrix as ticks and crosses. It also lists actions this page leaves out, such as Export, Restore, Active, View Files, Add Files, Delete Files, Post Remarks, Download report, Download Files and Change Statuses, and it has a column for Task Responsible Users, the people a task names.

If something is different
