Before you start

  • You are an Administrator.

  2. Tick the person's checkbox. In Bulk Actions choose Enable, then select Apply.

Step 2. The Users list filtered to one disabled user, the user ticked, Bulk Actions set to Enable and the Apply button
  3. The Users activation form opens. Your Email is shown. Type your Password and a Reason.

Step 3. The Users activation form with Email, Password and Reason, and the Sign button
  4. Select Sign.

Result

The Progress window reads "1 of 1 User(s) have been Enabled." and "User 'name' successfully enabled".

In Users, the person's Status is Enabled again.

What gets recorded

The entry is on the user's Audit Trail tab, with its name in the Action Type column and Yes in Digitally Signed. If the Digitally Signed column is not shown, add it from Fields.

What the audit trail records

  1. You enabled a disabled user. The entry is on that user's Audit Trail tab.

    Action Type
    User enabled
    Digitally Signed
    Yes
    Username
    Your username
    Date Created
Date and time of the action
    Activity
The person's name and "enabled", followed by the Reason you typed.

If something is different

The person still cannot sign in.

Disabled is only one reason a sign-in fails. See Can't sign in for the messages on the sign-in page and what each one means.
